Clubs at The Porch

We would like to introduce you to the current Clubs at The Porch. You may be asking yourself, "Why join a club when I can sew on my own?" Here are the list of reasons why we think you should join:

• Meet and interact with fellow quilters

Material Girls (formerly Thimbleberries Club)

This group meets the 2nd Thursday of each month at 9am, 1pm and 6pm and have all the fun, sharing and discounts that our Thimbleberries Club had! You will be the first to see all the new arrivals at The Porch as well as information on upcoming events, clubs, BOM's and classes. Submit your recipes for our "Dessert of the Month". If yours is the one chosen for the upcoming month, you will win a $10 gift certificate from The Porch. We also give 20% discount on all regular-priced fabric for that day! We want to encourage you to participate in "Show & Tell" each month for an extra entry in our grand prize drawing for the year. Bring a friend and get yet another entry in the drawing. And  don't forget about the grand finale: A 20% discount on all regular priced fabric when you attend our club!

 Sit & Stitch

Come and stitch with old friends and meet some new ones!  This is open to anyone who likes to do hand work.  Come and get help and learn from one another.  We meet every Tuesday at 10:00 am till 12:00 pm.   The coffee is always on!  Class if fee

   Calendar Quilts

This new club will be using Kim Schaefer's new book, "Calendar Quilts".  12 seasonal wall quilts, quick and easy, make one for yourself and more for gifts.  These darling quilts combine piecing and fusible applique. Club meets the 4th Thursday of the month from 12-4. or 5-9pm. Membership is month-to-month which makes it really easy!  If you purchase all 12 months, I will deduct the price of the book from your last kit!  Class fee is $5  Can't make it to class?  You can still be a member and enjoy all the benifits, just let us know and we will get you started!
