We are featuring a new book only available in our 10 shops. Beyond Tradition-A sampler style quilt book. At your first shop pick up your passport, have it stamped, doing a little shopping and head out for your next shop! We have over $1500.00 in prizes, along with some goodies for you! June 26 1,000,000 Pillowcase Challenge 1-4 pm

What's this all about? American Patchwork and Quilting is sponsoring an effort to get 1 million pillowcases donated to worthy causes in 2010. Our second quarter of pillowcases will be donated to our service men and women serving overseas. Bring hard candy to put with your pillowcases and you will receive 20% off your pillowcase kits. So bring in the troops and join us for a fun afternoon of sewing! P.S. If you can't make it in to sew, you can drop your pillowcases off here at The Porch anytime before June 30^th and we will see that they are delivered!

July 30-15 Minnesota State Shop Hop

We have 83 of the best quilt shops participating this year! You will receive your passport at the first shop along with a 5” charm square from this years Mn Shop Hop fabric line along and a pattern for a 9” finished block. Check out the state web site, www.quiltminnesota.com

August 1^st, 2^nd, and 8^th The One Yard Dash

Join us for 3 days and 2 nights as we made our way to all 11 shops in the northwest section. Driving.......leave that to us, enjoy riding on a coach bus leaving from Walker on the 1^st, Fergus Falls on the 2^nd and Roseau on the 8^th. As you make your way from store to store, pick up your one yard of free coordinating fabric from MODA. Your ticket is $215.00, for more information call 218-547-1122.

November 10^th -14^th Maplelag Retreat

This will be our fifth year out at Maplelag, and we expect to fill fast, so mark the dates!

Look for your registration forms early this year, June 1^st is the date we're shooting for. Last years camper's will receive the forms and have two weeks to register, after that it's open to everyone. Fees are the same as the retreat in September. Watch for more details.
