Well, according to Punxsutawney Phil, we will be having 6 more weeks of winter. Of course, we Minnesotans have to laugh at that because we would be THRILLED to have only 6 more weeks of winter! But think of it as having more time to quilt and then it doesn't seem so bad.

In honor of Groundhogs Day, we're going to be offering DOUBLE punches on your BPQ punch cards on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Feb 4 - 6. Every little bit helps when it comes to savings and this should definitely put you much closer to receiving you $25 in free merchandise.

Did you know that we now have a small collection of yarn at The Porch? If you haven't yet seen it, stop by and take a look. We are offering a beginning knitting class on Feb. 17th, 12pm - 2pm. The featured project is a simple dishcloth. Price for this class is $15 plus supplies.

Have you signed up for our "Sew in the Snow" day retreat on Feb. 27th yet? If not, give us a call. It runs from 9am to 9pm and will be held at Grace Lutheran Church and features a day of pampering and sewing with lucious food, massages and the camaraderie of fellow quilters. Stop by the store to view our class projects.

Just a reminder for you to drop some hints to your True Love and let him know that if he REALLY loves you, he will get you a nice gift certificate from the Porch for Valentines Day. Tell him we'll even wrap it for him!
